When thinking about anime, the series that most often come to mind are famous shonen shows like Naruto, Dragon Ball and My Hero Academia. Still, some of the optimal shonen anime focuses on more than just the traditional hero's journey.

However, as the social climate has evolved over the years, the BL From my memory, it always felt fond of BL anime existed as a genre for as extended as I can remember. Before BL dramas or movies became mainstream, BL animes and mangas were like the first frontier, depicting male romances in fiction even when it was taboo in society.
