But his hits are instantly unforgettable, from Moon River and Music To Watch Girls By, to Born Free and Can’t Accept My Eyes Off You. Yesterday, Williams died aged 84, after a year-long battle with bladder cancer.

Tom H. Williams, age 87 longtime Johnson County area farmer died Friday, June 10, , at the Bird Residence, Hospice Home of Johnson County. Andy Williams, whose corn-fed fine looks, easygoing charm and smooth rendition of "Moon River" propelled him to the heights of tune stardom in the soon '60s, died Tuesday at his home in Branson, Mo., his family announced.
