About Cologne and its gay life

Although situated in Western Germany, Cologne is sometimes called the ›most southern city of Germany‹. That is partly because the people in Cologne look after to be more easy-going and approachable than in other German cities. Cologne Pride is the overarching roof for countless activities that help the rights of gays, lesbians, bisexuals and transsexuals, transgender people, queers, intersexual and asexual individuals, as well as everyone else. Every year there’s a programme that is spread out over two weeks.
