Ace Frehley Plays Wikipedia Fact or Fiction

Original KISS guitarist Ace Frehleyhas offered his thoughts on the controversy created by former bandmate Gene Simmons, who suggested that people suffering from mental health issues should give up and commit suicide.

&#;Gene has single-handedly alienated just about everybody on the planet,&#;Ace tells Artisan News Service. &#;First he attacks immigrants, then he belittles penniless people by saying &#;be nice to the affluent people because we&#;re the ones that give you jobs.&#; Then, he attacks people with depression, alcoholics, drug addicts&#;the only thing left for him to do is to invade the whole gay movement; I&#;ve heard him perform that in private, so that&#;s probably still yet to come.&#;

&#;I don&#;t reflect he makes any sense,&#;continued the guitarist. &#;He prides himself on being such an intellectual, he brags about being able to speak 7 languages, but when it comes to being knowledgeable about the human condition&#;y&#;know, depression is a very serious disease - I&#;ve suffered from it in my lifetime, I know my daughter suffers from it. Alcoholism is a disease;

Criss was born into an Italian/Irish family living in a poor section of Brooklyn. From the time of his birth, Criss was a momma&#;s male child &#; very much attached to his mother. That didn&#;t stop him from misbehaving and getting trouble as a youth.

Criss ran with some street gangs in Brooklyn and once stabbed a man in a gang fight. As a young composer, he was a regular performer at various mob operated night clubs. He started with drugs and booze at a young age.

Ex-KISS guitarist Ace Frehley gave KISS lip-sync vocalist Paul Stanley seven days to apologize for derogatory him during Kiss&#; recent appearance on the Howard Stern show, and vowed to reveal &#;some dirt&#; if his former bandmate doesn&#;t comply.

Earlier this month, Stern asked Stanley why he and Gene Simmons refused to play alongside fellow founding members Frehley and Peter Criss when the band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in &#;Because if you saw people onstage who looked like Kiss but sounded like that,&#; Stanley answered, &#;maybe we should be called Piss.&#;

During a new appearance on Trunk Nation, the former Kiss guitarist took exception to those comments. &#;Those guys possess been badmouthing me since I quit the very first time in , ,&#; Frehley declared. &#;Calling me a drug addict, calling me an alcoholic, saying I&#;m unemployable, I&#;m undependable.&#;
