One of Gran Canaria's original all queer complexes, the men only Villas Blancas has been part of the island's gay scene for quite some period. Villas Blancas has recently undergone some fairly extensive refurbishment. Villas Blancas Queer Resort is Gran Canaria's premiere lgbtq+ exclusive, men only, clothing optional holiday resort.
Attracting a truly international crowd, Villas Blancas is located outside Playa del Ingles in the altogether quieter resort of Maspalomas. Maspalomas and Playa del Ingles actually run into one another, but you'll probably find walking into town just a little bit strenuous. It takes about half an hour, which can be a bit much for some, especially in the heat. Don't concern though, it's uncomplicated to get a cab and the journey by thoroughfare takes just a few minutes and costs a handful of Euros.
