What is a hotline?

The Network/La Red’s hour hotline provides confidential emotional support, facts, referrals, safety planning, and crisis intervention for womxn loving womxn, gay, bisexual, queer and/or transgender (LGBTQ+) folks, as well as folks in kink and polyamorous communities who are being abused or have been abused by a partner. We also offer information and support to friends, family, or co-workers on the issue of domestic aggression in LGBTQ+ communities. All hotline staff are trained in domestic violence, peer counseling, crisis intervention, and safety planning. You don’t contain to leave or wish to leave your partnership to get support.

No, our services are free and we have both a local and a toll-free number for our hotline.

Galop works directly with thousands of LGBT+ people who have experienced violence and violence every year. We specialise in supporting victims and survivors of domestic abuse, sexual violence, hate crime, honour-based abuse, forced marriage, so-called conversion therapies, and other forms of interpersonal abuse. We are a service race by LGBT+ people, for LGBT+ people, and the needs of our group are at the centre of what we do.

Our domestic abuse services are for LGBTQ+ people in Greater Manchester (Manchester, Salford, Trafford, Stockport, Tameside, Bury, Bolton, Oldham, Rochdale, and Wigan) & Liverpool who are aged 16 and above.

We’re here to focus on the hopeful future we can accomplish together, helping you overcome abuse in various forms, including:
