Welcome to MindOut
MindOut is a mental health service move by and for queer woman , gay, bisexual, trans, and queer (LGBTQ) people.
We operate to improve the mental health and wellbeing of all LGBTQ communities and to make mental health a community concern.
We recognise that our communities are wonderfully diverse and welcome all LGBTQ+ people including those who identify as asexual, aromantic, pansexual, genderqueer, genderqueer, genderfluid and intersex.
Our services are also obtainable to those who may not identify under the LGBTQ umbrella, including direct people who have sexual and/or romantic relationships with LGBTQ people, men who have sex with men, women who have sex with women, people who previously identified as LGBTQ and those who are questioning their sexual and/or gender identities. Our services are for LGBTQ people aged 18+ who are based in Sussex, with the exception of our Online Aid service which is accessible nationally. See below for opening times.
Mental Health Resources in the Queer Community
We realize these times experience heavy. The soar in attacks on the LGBTQ+ group and the decline of the devoted lifeline for Queer youth can notice like yet another blow to our community, but even when resources change, you are never alone.
Please dial if you need immediate support.
There are still support systems out there, ready to listen, uplift, and help you guard your mental health. If you're struggling, please reach out for help and never forget that you are loved, you are seen, and your mental well-being matters.
Even without LGBTQ+-specific support on the lifeline, facilitate is still out there. You don't have to navigate your mental health alone; there are resources available that can offer guidance, care, and connection. If you're struggling or simply require someone to converse to, see below for a list of available hotlines, warmlines, and crisis lines, many of which are staffed by people specifically trained to work with the LGBTQ+ community.
